These free printable flash cards in PDF format allow you to print ready formatted cards that can be drawn on, written on or used to stick on cut out pictures and images from magazines.

Print them off and get your students involved. Ask them to make their own flash cards for the topic they are studying.

Choose from 4 different sized cards. The 8x2 format is ideal for creating vocabulary flash cards, whilst the 2x1 format is visibly large enough to be held up in front of a group.

How to use the Free Printable Flash Cards Template

Select the size card that you wish to use.

All templates will be printed with border lines allowing you to cut each card to the perfect size.

To make your flash cards more robust and professional looking print them on thick white printer card.

By using printer card, your flash cards are more likely to stand the test of time for longer.

Make sure that you select a card that is compatible with your printer. If it's too thick your printer will not like it.

Once you have printed your flash cards you'll want to cut them into individual cards.

I use a guillotine to cut mine as it provides the straightest, most accurate edge possible. It also allows multiple pieces of card to be cut at the same time ensuring that each flash card is of a standard shape and size.

I also like to laminate mine as they look great, as if I had purchased them from a professional supplier. Laminating them also has the added benefit of making them last alot longer.
